SAN DIEGO, Jan. 5, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Evofem, Inc. announces that John A. Fair has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. Mr. Fair comes to Evofem with 20 years of progressive experience leading health care marketing, commercial strategy and operations. His background includes senior-level positions at innovative startup ventures and multi-national firms.
In his role as COO, Mr. Fair will have broad administrative responsibility for operations and direct responsibility for product development, manufacturing and commercialization. He will report directly to Saundra Pelletier, CEO.

Mr. Fair most recently served as chief commercial and strategy officer for Woman Care Global (WCG), an innovative global non-profit focused exclusively on women's health. As a member of the senior leadership of WCG, he was instrumental in in-licensing new and novel technology as well as providing the strategic framework necessary to support WCG's rapid expansion.

Mr. Fair graduated magna cum laude from Rider University and holds a master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine.
