Concentric Pharma Advertising Names Nikos Katopodis Senior Vice President, Account Director

NEW YORK, N.Y., September, 2010- Concentric Pharma Advertising, one of the largest and fastest-growing independent healthcare advertising agencies in the country, today announced that Nikos Katopodis joined the agency as Senior Vice President and Account Director. In this role, Katopodis is responsible for managing key accounts such as Salix Pharmaceuticals and developing talent within the agency. Katopodis has over ten years of experience in medical communication. He began his career in medical education and has worked with a variety of brands, including the product launches of Rituxan® for rheumatoid arthritis, Velcade® for multiple myeloma (oncology) and Isentress® for H.I.V. (anti-infective). Prior to joining Concentric, he held executive roles at Area 23 and Surge Healthcare Communications. Katopodis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He also earned his Master of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York.
