ATS Labs Announces New Name And Introduces New CEO

EAGAN, Minn., Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ATS Labs is happy to announce that it is changing its company name to Accuratus Lab Services.  ATS Labs recently completed a large acquisition of the assets of Microtest Laboratories of Agawam, Massachusetts, enabling it to expand its service offering into the growing medical device and pharmaceutical market segments.  Company Executive Chairman Tom Burnell said, "The new identity and logo had to satisfy all of the existing expectations and strengths associated with the historical ATS Labs and Microtest Laboratories businesses while simultaneously personifying the scientific experience, quality solutions and accurate test results the combined companies provide to the growing medical device, biopharmaceutical and antimicrobial industries."  Accuratus is derived from the Latin word accurate.

Accuratus Lab Services is a leading contract testing lab with over 50 years of quality and expertise in the medical device, pharmaceutical and antimicrobial industries. Accuratus offers a full range of microbiology, virology, analytical chemistry, and clean room testing services. Our ISO certified and FDA/EPA regulated facilities are managed to the strictest standards, and our services are fully compliant with GMP and GLP practices.
The re-branding initiative also involves a change in the organization's domain name and website, with the new website address changing from to  Eric Hess, the newly appointed CEO of Accuratus Lab Services, indicates, "Our current websites and email addresses for ATS Labs and Microtest Laboratories will continue to be operational for the foreseeable future and will not affect the routing of our current emails, nor access to our historical websites."
