GAINESVILLE, Fla., Jan. 12, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AmnioLife Corporation, a human cells, tissues, and cellular and tissue-based products developer, today announced it has appointed Andrew S. Hoover as its Chief Financial Officer. "We are very excited to add Mr. Hoover to our executive team at such a pivotal time. His unique skills add significant value during the implementation of our GMP systems and expansion of our manufacturing initiatives," said Chris Broderick, AmnioLife's CEO.

Hoover has almost 10 years of experience working in the financial service industry, and will be working closely with AmnioLife's executive team to improve the short and long-term overall business and operational strategies. Prior to joining AmnioLife Mr. Hoover worked at Square 1 Bank, a venture-lending bank, as a venture debt underwriter and credit analyst. He has also previously held positions at RS Investments and Oak Value Capital Management.
