Tapping in on the rapidly growing business of genetic testing, Abbott Molecular is gathering 400 workers together in a new worldwide headquarters in Des Plaines, Illinois. The company reports that its testing business is growing at a rate of 30 percent per year and is expected to breach the $200 million mark in a couple of years. Analysts say that the molecular diagnostics industry overall is growing 15 percent to 20 percent per year.
