Two eczema drugs get black box warnings

The FDA has added black box warnings to two eczema treatments--Elidel, made by Novartis, and Protopic, made by Japan's Astellas Pharma. The new labels warn that these treatments are linked to an increased chance of skin cancer. The warnings also recommend that Elidel and Protopic be used only when other courses of medication have proven ineffective.
