SR Pharma inks $95M licensing pact
Shares of the UK's SR Pharma soared after the company announced that its subsidiary, Atugen, stands to gain up to $95 million in milestones plus royalties from a new licensing deal inked with Pfizer. SR Pharma will gain $3.5 million when Phase I trials start for an RNAi treatment for age-related macular degeneration developed with Quark Biotech. Full financial details were not disclosed.
