SPOTLIGHT: Bristol-Myers pulls Tequin

Bristol-Myers Squibb has decided to pull the antibiotic Tequin from the market and return the rights to the drug to Japan's Kyorin. Bristol-Myers said the decision was reached after a commercial review of the drug. In February, the FDA heightened the warnings on the drug's label. Tequin achieved sales of only $150 million last year. Report
