Serentis pockets $20.6M in first round
The U.K.'s Serentis has ginned $20.6 million in its first round of venture capital. The money is being earmarked to push its lead candidates into proof of principle trials and provide the buying power to in-license new drug candidates. MVM Life Science Partners, Apposite Capital and Novo A/S jointly led the round for the Cambridge-based biotech, which was founded last year.
