Schering contraceptive earns approvable letter

The FDA has issued an approvable letter for Schering's contraceptive Yaz for women with PMDD, or premenstrual dysphoric disorder. Schering said that the FDA's letter noted that the agency needed to review newly submitted data but was not asking for any new clinical trials.
