Remicade get approval in Europe for UC

Centocor's Remicade has received EU approval for the treatment of ulcerative colitis, a chronic inflammatory disease. This is the eighth approved use for Remicade in the EU and the first biologic therapy approved to treat UC in the European Union.

ALSO: GlaxoSmithKline has submitted its vaccine Cervarix to European regulators for approval. Their submission comes only months behind Merck's Gardasil, which was presented for approval late last year.
