Partner says Korean doctor faked stem cell research

In another blow to Korean scientist Hwang Woo-suk's reputation, a doctor who contributed to the stem cell cloning project says that Hwang admitted to him that most of the stem cells produced were faked. The doctor appeared on South Korean television. Hwang caused an international furor after he admitted recently that two female lab assistants donated eggs for his research work--a violation of ethics rules.
