Lilly and Boehringer roll toward EU approval with diabetes combo

Eli Lilly ($LLY) and Boehringer Ingelheim secured a recommendation from European regulators for their combination diabetes treatment, making for a likely continental approval in the coming months. The pair plans to market the combination as Synjardy, expecting to pick up FDA approval later this year. Empagliflozin won approval last year and is marketed as Jardiance. More
