IBM gains $1.4B IT pact with AstraZeneca

IBM has inked a $1.4 billion, seven-year deal to manage AstraZeneca's IT infrastructure around the globe. The deal covers everything from PC management to servers and communications. "IBM will marshal its global resources to provide a flexible and agile infrastructure enabling AstraZeneca to continue implementing its plans to grow and lead in the pharmaceutical industry," said Doug Elix, Senior Vice President, IBM.
