Going global

I'd like to thank everyone who tuned in to yesterday's live webinar on animal-based therapeutics in New Zealand. The call connected experts in New Zealand with a truly global audience. In case you missed it, you'll find the webinar posted on the web site - www.fiercebiotech.com.

On another note, the rapid growth of FierceBiotech and more recently FierceBioResearcher coupled with plans for launching a new report in the life sciences arena in the near future has my parent company looking for a publisher who can step in to grow the business. Here are some of the details:

The publisher's roles and responsibilities will include:

1. Planning publication and group growth strategies
2. Designing and launching new products
3. Leading sales and marketing efforts
4. Overseeing editorial staff and calendars
5. Engaging all levels of the Biotech and Pharma space

Candidate should have a history of building successful products, delivering against financial and other targets, and managing teams. Prior experience in the Biotech and/or Pharmaceutical space is a huge plus.

This is an ideal position for someone who loves online media, is entrepreneurial and innovative, thinks big, and is ready to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

The position is based in Washington; however, we are open to telecommuting for the ideal candidate.

If you fit the description, or know someone who does, get in touch with Sean Griffey: [email protected]

And, finally, like much of the U.S., we'll be taking off Monday for Memorial Day. We'll be posting our next report on Tuesday. - John Carroll
