Steve is a really nice guy, and certainly knows the FDA inside and out. However under his watch I have to wonder if ANYTHING will ever get approved.

Dr. Nissen, would at the very least, return the FDA to it's intended purpose. He would bring common sense and accountability to the FDA. Accountability to the American public, not Big Pharma or Big food corporations.
Dr. Steve Nissen is a brilliant surgeon. He would be brilliant as the new head of the FDA.
