Denver pursues biotech hub with funding
Denver, CO isn't exactly a hub for biotech business, but lawmakers in the state are hoping to change that. The state approved a $26.5 million incentive package to support its biotech sector. While it's not on the same scale as California or Massachusetts' massive funding programs, lawmakers hope the money will support small biotechs in the state over the next five years and eventually lead to more bioscience business in the state.
