Interleukin Genetics has appointed Lewis Bender as chief executive officer. Bender had been chief technology officer and interim CEO of Emisphere Technologies.

International Stem Cell Corporation has announced the death of its CEO, Jeff Krstich. The chairman of the board, Kenneth Aldrich, has assumed the role of CEO. Aldrich was one of the original founders of the company and had been CEO until Krstich joined the company in 2006.
