Interleukin Genetics has appointed Lewis Bender as chief executive officer. Bender had been chief technology officer and interim CEO of Emisphere Technologies.

Cardiokine has appointed Dr. Manuel Worcel as president and CEO. He also will serve as a director of the company. 

Advanced Cancer Therapeutics has named Randall Riggs as the company's president and CEO. 

QLT co-founder Julia Levy and several senior managers are leaving the company in the midst of a radical restructuring. 

International Stem Cell Corporation has announced the death of its CEO, Jeff Krstich. The chairman of the board, Kenneth Aldrich, has assumed the role of CEO. Aldrich was one of the original founders of the company and had been CEO until Krstich joined the company in 2006.
