AstraZeneca downsizing

The ranks of employees at Big Pharma companies are growing thinner, as this morning's news that AstraZeneca will lay off another 6,000 workers underscores with a vengeance. Analyst Manoj Ladwa says that the company's inability to forecast a sales jump this year--despite a rich pipeline of new therapies--is spooking investors.
