Almirall, GW Pharma ink deal for cannabis-based Sativex

Spain's Almirall has inked a deal to market GW Pharma's cannabis-based Sativex in all European countries except the UK. GW will gain an initial payment of £12 million with milestones up to £46 million. The deal covers Sativex's uses for multiple sclerosis symptoms, neuropathic pain and pain associated with cancer.
