AIDS activists target Abbott's Kaletra
AIDS activists have set their sights on Abbott Laboratories aimed at making the newly reconstituted Kaletra available in less developed nations at no profit. Abbott CEO Miles White says the protests fall into the category of "no good deed goes unpunished." It's also an example of the intense pressure that drug developers face to discount prices on any new HIV/AIDS therapies.
