Thanks for your warm welcome to me on FierceBiotechResearch. The newsletter has had a great year reviewing some of the cutting-edge research in biotech from both industry and academia. While not all of it has made it into the clinic, let alone onto the market, and some of it never will, it has all increased the sum of knowledge in healthcare research, bringing us closer to meeting the wealth of unmet need that remains.
Over the next year we will continue to track what is new and exciting, watching indications large and small, marking the successful breakthroughs as they come, and keeping an eye on the developments that don't quite deliver what they promise.
