Facebook, Google founders award $33M to life scientists

Eleven life scientists have been named winners of the Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences. The researchers, whose specialties include genetics, stem cells and cancer, will receive $3 million each for their scientific discoveries. That's more than the Nobel Prize, which is $1.1 million.
