> Aptuit announced today that it has signed a deal to acquire EaglePicher Pharmaceutical Services--the first step in Aptuit's plan to build capabilities in active pharmaceutical ingredient development and drug substance manufacturing. Release [1]

> Immunicon is touting the results of a Phase III trial enumerating circulating tumor cells in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer. The primary endpoint was that the number of circulating tumor cells 3-5 weeks after the initiation of therapy would agree with a patient's response to therapy as determined by imaging 6-12 weeks after initiation of therapy.
