Infinity to merge with Discovery Partners

Fast-moving Infinity Pharmaceuticals is merging with San Diego-based Discovery Partners International in a deal that will take it public. Infinity shareholders will wind up with 69 percent of the shares in the merged company. Cambridge, MA-based Infinity was a 2005 Fierce 15 company.
