Labopharm touts pivotal Tramadol data

Labopharm says that Phase III data backs up its NDA for a once-daily formulation of Tramadol. The pivotal trial compared Tramadol for pain relief against a placebo. The drug was tested in a 12-week trial involving patients with moderate to severe osteoarthritis of the knee.
