> Chiron is pulling Morupar, its vaccine for measles, mumps and rubella, off of the market after determining that it was linked to a higher rate of adverse effects than other vaccines. Chiron revised its projected earnings for 2005 down three cents a share as a result. Adverse reactions include fever, swelling of the glands and allergic responses. Sales of Morupar were $10 million last year, a tiny fraction of the company's overall revenue. Report [1]
