Experienced med tech investor Lightstone Ventures closes $50M Singapore fund

Lightstone Ventures has invested in several prominent med tech startups including Ardian, Twelve, Zeltiq and Fire1. Now it has closed a $50 million Singapore-focused fund in partnership with Singapore investment company Limited Partners Temasek and EDBI, the corporate investment arm of the Singapore Economic Development Board. LSV has established a subsidiary dubbed Lightstone Singapore to manage the fund. "To be successful, the fund will need to translate ground-breaking technologies currently resident in the prestigious research institutions across Singapore into commercially viable enterprises," Lightstone Singapore CEO Dr. Kenneth Noonan said.
