Position Description
As a Remote/Technical Phone Support Engineer you will join Agilent Technologies Life Science and Chemical Analysis Business Unit’s (LSCA) Remote Channel Operations Call Center team supporting US and Canadian external customers. As an active team member you will act as focal point for North American customers requesting hardware and software support on Agilent Gas Chromatography/Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/LC/MS) Products and Solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Using your knowledge/expertise to deliver quality and timely responses to our customer requests for technical assistance of GC/LC/MS Products and Solutions.
2. Assisting in providing additional sales support for the GC/LC/MS Products and Solutions through partnerships with the field engineers, internal system engineers and division personnel.
3. Providing phone support in problem solving and technical support for our customers.
4. Could be up to 25% travel to customer sites performing technical work (repairs, installations, consulting) and attending internal Agilent training classes.

Qualification:
* BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry,Biology, Microbiology or equivalent.
* Logical troubleshooting skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledgeable regarding WINDOWS based products
Desired
* Master Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry,Biology, Microbiology or equivalent.
* Experience with Agilent’s GC/LC/MS products highly desired.
* 3 years related experience as a Field Service Engineer supporting Agilent GCMS and/or LCMS products.
