Description

Ensure compliance with the governmental and internal data tracking and reporting requirements of the EMD Serono Compliance program, through management of information systems and databases; and identification, collection, consolidation, validation and reporting of critical financial and non-financial data.


Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Compliance Program subject matter expert on all data sources and related information systems (manual and automated).
  • Deliver all reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain best practices for the identification, collection, consolidation, validation, tracking and reporting of data.
  • Implement, maintain, update and monitor all related Compliance Program policies, procedures and working instructions.
  • Manage all historic data in support of reporting and auditing initiatives.
  • Manage process mapping and application of business rules.
  • Seek and identify all reportable information (through both internal and external sources), and establish standards and processes for collection of reportable information.
  • Identify, track and consolidate all reportable information.
  • Perform analysis and validation of all reportable information.
  • Provide standard status reports, ad-hoc reports, and executive reports for use by the Compliance Program, Senior Management and other interested parties.
  • Provide system-level and transaction-level support for all audits (internal and external).
  • Manage data tracking, compilation and analysis to meet all governmental reporting requirements.
  • Manage all data interfaces to the Aggregate Reporting System from various sources (e.g., Accounts Payable system, Expense Reporting system, Third-Party Administrator systems, etc.) including validation, reconciliation and repair of data integrity of information as necessary.
  • Drive process improvement to data management systems through continuous interface with key personnel in all areas.

Autonomy & Authority:

  • Independently manage all Compliance Program data tracking and reporting requirements.
  • Directly coordinate data tracking and reporting requirements and guidelines with key internal and external personnel.

Qualifications


Education & Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Healthcare industry knowledge desirable; biotechnology/pharmaceutical experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years in system reporting/analytical role, with demonstrated history of progressive responsibilities.
  • High level of proficiency with business systems (Microsoft Access & Excel a must).
  • SAP/Concur knowledge a plus.
