Position Description
This is your opportunity to join and grow with Emerald BioSystems, a biotech company catering the protein crystallization marketplace. As a key position within the production team you will be dealing with sophisticated liquid dispensation instrumentation and be responsible for setting and meeting the quality standards in our operation. The ideal candidate is someone who is hands-on, energetic, organized, self-starter, multi-tasker and who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Devise and implement new quality testing protocols
• Develop and monitoring quality metrics and standards for life science reagent kit production
• Analyze relevant data and determine effective internal procedural actions to correct and prevent product discrepancies or contamination, maintaining product performance and customer satisfaction
• Develop product quality documentation
• Manufacture reagent kits
• Contribute to the development of new reagents kits and new applications
Requirements:
• B.S. in Biological Sciences or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with sterile technique, life science product manufacturing and quality control
• ISO 9001 experience or prior exposure to CFR 21 Part 11 would be a big plus
• Experience in working with biotech or manufacturing environment desired
• Strong quality mentality with excellent problem solving skills
• Track record of success in maintaining quality standards in life science product manufacturing environment
• Team player with good time management, organizational and computer skills
