Job Title : Biologist – II (Associate)
Location : Rahway, NJ
Rate Range : Open
Description::
Perform basic histology procedures independently (trimming, processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, coverslipping). Develop and perform advanced histology procedures (Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry and/or in situ hybridization) under limited supervision. Execute basic necropsy procedures (basic dissection, tissue collection/preservation, fresh tissue trimming). Data analysis; Document results with images and written reports; Performed all other related duties as assigned.
Requirement:
BA/BS – Required. Successful performance requires a sound basic knowledge of the individual scientific discipline and the ability to apply fundamental principles and techniques to the problems assigned. Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related sciences; 2 or more years of immunohistochemistry (IHC) experience; Methods development experience in histology and Immunohistochemistry; Must have hands on experience in: manual and/or automated immunohistochemistry on frozen tissue sections and paraffin tissue sections; tissue collection, embedding, sectioning, and staining.
