Job Title : Chemist – II (Associate)
Location : Rahway, NJ
Rate Range: Open
Description:
Under the direction of a more senior staff member, the Analytical Chemist will work in the Analytical Development and Commercialization department at the Rahway, NJ site. Our focus is to provide analytical support to synthetic process development at various development stages of our drug candidates. Method development, validation, and documentation are required in addition to the provision of accurate and timely analytical results of various drug development samples. Some of the analytical techniques used include but are not limited to HPLC, GC, chiral LC, spectroscopy, SFC, CE and wet chemistry.
Requirement:
The successful candidate will have a B.S. or M.S. degree in chemistry with an excellent academic record, demonstrated laboratory skills, interest in analytical chemistry and 3-10 years of industrial experience. All candidates must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment. Experience in HPLC and GC is a must. Candidate must have experience in HPLC and GC method validation, quantitative analysis, as well as data reporting. Experience in writing reports for regulatory review and an understanding of GMP practices in the pharmaceutical industry are desirable.
