Position Description

Support product development and product improvements by creating concepts, designs, illustrations, and sample layouts of product labeling based on the corporate graphic standards, packaging requirements, page layout and graphic design principles, and esthetic design concepts; and utilize various graphic and page layout software to electronically convert concept designs and other inputs into dimensionally accurate artwork files of assembled images, text, and other elements.
Coordinate language translations activities with translations providers and various country regulatory personnel, and facilitate the approval of multi-language labeling materials within project deadlines and in accordance with procedural and process requirements.
Prepare and finalize electronic artwork files for accurate output and convert to PDF file formats. Perform product data management and processing of labeling physical design specifications in BPLM.
Participate as core team member on various product development programs and/or PST projects, and manage labeling for those projects. Plan, organize, schedule, execute, track, and follow up on assigned projects to ensure projects are consistently completed on schedule. Identify and resolve issues that impact project deliverables. Demonstrate ownership of projects and accountability for commitments.
Troubleshoot labeling layouts where text/graphics cannot be set within current guidelines, troubleshoot with print suppliers and manufacturing on artwork problems. Assist and guide R&D/engineering in the preparation of product labeling, product configuration, and change control or labeling processes and systems.
Serve as procedural resource for customers and act as a liaison between functional areas involved in labeling development process , such as R&D, marketing, regulatory affairs, engineering, medical affairs, manufacturing, and printed material suppliers to gather necessary information to produce quality product and packaging labeling.
Organize and facilitate labeling development and approval meetings. Review labeling for accuracy and compliance to procedures. Ensure all document and system elements are identified, accurate and assembled for review and approval.
Aid in training internal and external personnel on labeling related processes and systems. Work independently with minimal supervision
