Formulations Team Coordinator


OVERVIEW:
Directs,coordinates and supervises professional staff in the research and development activities for the Formulations team through planning, organization, control and completion of projects/experiments

RESPONSIBILIIES:
• Designs experiments depending on company needs. Produces documents describing each design of experiment to be performed in the lab
• Coordinates the work of 8-9 Formulations team members
Organizes staff availability, equipment, materials, reagents, etc.
• Facilitates communication between different groups, formulation/chemistry/immunology/veterinary/management
• Principal owner of raw data, data organization, data management and data analysis. Creates small data bases containing specific data for projects. Works on a system to record and file raw data from all available analytical tests. Develops templates to report specific results.
• Records scientific meetings and follow-up action items. The incumbent also writes reports and conducts presentations as required
• Maintains contact with outside contractors ( Birmex, ICYT, Northern Lipids, OFD, Lyophilization Technologies etc.)

EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS:
• Good written and oral communications skills required
• Minimum 3 years experience analyzing data and preparing summaries of results
• The individual possesses a BA Chemical engineering or relevant scientific discipline
• 2-3 years coordinating staff for Research and Development experiments
• Proven experience in managing successful projects
•
