Position Description

As a Service Agreement Telesales Specialist supporting Agilent Technologies Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis Business (LSCA) North Americas Support Sales business, you will work with the outside sales channel to achieve order growth. Your goal will be to retain and grow an existing base of agreement renewals as well as identify and acquire new agreement customers. You will provide remote sales coverage of medium to large support agreements.

You will be responsible for driving and closing the sale on your assigned opportunities, managing a sales funnel, converting warranty customers to agreement, and generating leads for the outside sales staff for the products you do not support. Your compensation will reflect team quota achievement.

Agilent Technologies Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis (LSCA) is a leading provider of bio-analytical and chemical instrument systems to pharmaceutical, environmental, research, and other technology companies.
Our LSCA division is headquartered in Santa Clara California, and has manufacturing facilities in California, Delaware, Germany, Japan, and China.

At our Wilmington, DE facility, we have 800 people inventing, designing, building and marketing products that dominate the market for chemical analysis. Our products are frequently behind the headlines in the news, from environmental regulations to new drug discoveries to Homeland Security.

Qualifications:

Requires:
- Bachelors Degree in Science or Business-related Field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience in a customer facing role, experience in a sales/customer service organization within a life science technology industry strongly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interest in interacting directly with customers (via phone, email)
- Must have proficient computer skills; experience in use of database and software applications such as Siebel, and Microsoft Office etc.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic team environment.
- Accuracy and attention to details is a must.
- Available for up to 10% business travel.
