We are seeking an enthusiastic, people-oriented Sales Assist Specialist for Agilent’s Life Science and Chemical Analysis (LSCA) Business to provide on-going GC, GCMS and LCMS product and application support to customers and internal partners. In this role you will work closely with our sales professionals in an effort to develop customer solutions, drive business and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
•Provide accurate, timely, and complete sales and ordering configuration information for highly-complex, technical sales to increase sales channel efficiency and effectiveness
•Develop and maintain documentation for e-tools
•Provide complete instrument configuration for published application notes and products
•Proactively contact and respond to customers in the pre-sales process regarding instrument configurations and applications
Secondary Responsibilities:
•Contribute to the promotion of GC, GC/MS and LC/MS solutions by participation in marketing activities (e.g., tradeshows, road shows, seminars, e-seminars, etc.)
•Collect and forward information to Marketing Program Managers and Solution Units in regards to competition, competitive pricing, customer needs, sales and business opportunities, product/solution enhancement requests and local product/solution requirements.
•Help with identifying needs and participating in all relevant sales channels training, as well as evaluating, and providing feedback to Solution Units and Marketing Program Managers on new products tool
This position can be located anywhere within the United States.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or related discipline or equivalent; advanced degree preferred
- 3+ years hands-on experience in the field of GC,GCMS and LCMS with a deep understanding of laboratory workflow
- Hands-on experience with Agilent GC and GCMS products. LCMS experience beneficial.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications skills.
- Ability to define and create solutions.
Travel: 10% of the time
