Scientist

Needed molecular biologist to compliment a small team of cell biologists and immunologists at a start up in Florida. Will take the lead on cDNA library construction and gene array screening, but will need to be to have all around molecular biology skills. Postdoctoral or industry experience preferred.

This client is a small start up that is investigating immunological based treatments for cancer located on Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Location: Florida’s gulf coast

Compensation: DOE $45K – $65K

Degree: PhD

Background: PhD in Molecular Biology or related field. Work with gene cloning, gene expression analysis and gene arrays. Must have performed cDNA library construction and subsequent analysis with publishable findings


Must Have:

• PhD
• 2+ years working cDNA library construction
• 3+ years experience gene expression analysis
• 5+ years experience in Molecular Biology research
• Publication record of experience
Preferences:

• Postdoctoral or pharma/biotech industry experience


Compensation: DOE $55K – $60K+ Benefits
