This test is positioned to predict the likelihood of a patient responding to rituximab monotherapy in the treatment of follicular non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL). New evidence in breast cancer and colorectal cancer treatment supports the role of F158V and other SNPs in FCGR2A in response to treatment with Herceptin® and Erbitux®, This new data represents an opportunity to focus oncologists on the impact of F158V FCGR3A testing in the management of their patients and the importance of ADCC in the mechanism of action of these drugs.
