Research Scientist- Analytical/Formulation Chemist - SIGA Technologies, Inc

Position Description

SIGA is seeking a Pharmaceutical Analyst with a strong background in pharmaceutical/bioanalytical skills to join our R&D team. Successful candidate should have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or analytical chemistry or related field with zero to two years of experience. The individual will develop, perform, and validate LC or LC-MS (liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry) analytical methods per ICH guidelines. The individual will also be involved in pre-formulation and formulation development of small synthetic molecules. Candidates with familiarity on standard analytical instrumentation and methodology for pharmaceutical analyses and/or pre-formulation studies will be preferred. Qualified candidate must have attention to detail, flexibility, ability to work independently, ability to multi-task, and good oral and written communication skills.
