Projects Coordinator, Invivo Testing - Emergent Biosolutions, Inc.

Position Description

Job Responsibilities:

The position will provide support to the non-clinical operations at EPDG. The qualified candidate will ensure success of projects and timely implementations of tasks through interaction with scientists, project team leaders, and vendors. Will assist the management of the Non-Clinical Development Department in resource allocation, preparation of status reports, task schedules/calendars, and Gantt charts. Will serve as a non-clinical liaison to the Legal, Finance, and Business Development departments, assist in obtaining quotes and supporting documents from contract research organizations (CROs); process invoices; as well as facilitate timely preparation, review, and execution of purchase orders, service contracts, and consulting agreements. Will also assist in preparation of responses to government RFPs, RFIs, RFAs, and BAAs in support of new and existing products, as well as in managing non-clinical work performed as part of the current government grants and contracts, including preparation of progress reports and other documentation requested by project officers.


Requirements:
An ideal candidate will have 2+ years of directly related experience, and exceptional oral and written communication skills. B.A. or B.S. is required, with strong background in life sciences. A Master’s degree is a plus. Certification in project management (PMP, CAPM) is preferred. Experience working with government contracts is a plus.
