Position Description

Job Responsibilities:
The qualified applicant will support complex cross-functional project teams working on advancing the Company’s products through the stages of product development to licensure and commercialization. The candidate will support the Project Leader and the Project Team, ensuring that agreed upon work is executed and those objectives are met within planned timelines and budgets.
Job Responsibilities include:
• Creating & managing complex, integrated project plans and Gantts using MS Project
• Managing project financials including project budget vs. actual, forecasting and invoice tracking using various tools
• Coordinating meetings, developing agendas, writing and issuing minutes and tracking action items
• Preparing and managing project documents and project status reports
• Developing and managing project website content


Requirements:
BS in biological sciences required. Certification in project management (PMP, CAPM) preferred. 3-5 years project management support experience required. Should have good written and oral communication skills and be fluent with software applications that will be regularly used (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint). In order to work effectively, the successful candidate should have a general understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry. Experience with regulatory. Quality, clinical, non-clinical, process & analytical development or manufacturing is a distinct advantage. Experience in working with government grants/contracts and EVM is highly desired.
