Position Description

This role contributes to the company’s success by providing service, support and training on our market leading Atomic Absorption (AA) products in Shelton, CT.

Technical Support Specialist – AA



Responsibilities:


Provide technical support to customers via phone or email communication channels for AA Products. These products include the AAnalyst family of instruments , all accessories and the WinLab32 software platform.
The support provided includes applications support , diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems and or complex software.
Provide Technical support assistance to other departments with various tasks including training, training material development, development of documentation, member of New Product Introduction team and support continuous improvement of product quality.


Requirements



Bachelor’s Degree in Science or equivalent work experience
Minimum 4-6 years previous experience in a support, service or laboratory environment performing duties similar to product end users.
Field Service Experience is a plus
Extensive Hardware and Software trouble shooting experience.
Must be driven to keep up with our fast paced environment.
Must be a fast learner who is motivated and committed to excellence
Able to work with limited supervision.
Ability to influence and lead cross functionally.
Demonstrated success in roles requiring detail orientation
Six Sigma skills desired.
