Position Description
This Wellesley, Massachusetts-based position reports directly to the Associate Director of U.S. Neurology Operations.
This position supports the U.S. Neurology business by designing and administering the incentive compensation plans for both the Sales and Managed Markets & Reimbursement (MM&R) Field Forces. U.S. Neurology is responsible for the commercialization of two marketed Multiple Sclerosis products, AVONEX® and TYSABRI®.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Oversee the administration of the Sales and MM&R field force incentive compensation plans to ensure timely and accurate payouts
• Manage relationship with external compensation consultants
• Lead the annual incentive compensation design process for the field forces, which includes working closely with Sales , MM&R , Legal and Human Resources
• Work with the U.S. Neurology Management Team on ad-hoc projects, which may include sales force structure, resource allocation, performance reporting, etc.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve the incentive compensation process and the content of the quarterly reporting
Qualifications:
• 4-6 years of direct experience in incentive compensation, sales force analytics, sales, marketing, and/or consulting, preferably in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology/medical device industries
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving skills and business acumen
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, including ability to synthesize information for senior management
• Comfort with technology and statistics to quality check plan inputs and results as well as diagnose alternatives to improve accuracy and fairness
