Position Description

Located in central NJ, this is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing breakthrough biologic medicines in the area of oncology. The Company has utilized the many advances made in the fields of molecular biology, oncology, genomics, and antibody engineering to build a novel pipeline of product candidates designed to address specific genetic mechanisms involved in cancer growth and development.

Their goal is to become a fully-integrated biopharmaceutical company that has the capability and resources to take its novel pipeline compounds and develop them from the research and development stage through to commercial manufacture, marketing and sales. With their first innovative cancer drug on the market and late stage clinical candidates soon to be, they have cooperative agreements with several big pharmaceutical companies to help market their drugs. Currently looking for a Clinical Assistant

GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for creating, sending, filing and tracking clinical confidentiality agreements and clinical study agreements for domestic and international company studies through their full execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Create, send, file and track clinical confidentiality agreements and clinical study agreements as directed according to clinical contracts processes and SOPs.
Liaise with Company legal staff as well as medical/legal staff at investigative study sites to expedite timely execution of all clinical agreements.
- Facilitates the resolution of clinical confidentiality agreement and clinical study agreement related issues through communication with site personnel and monitoring CROs, etc
- Performs all work in a uniform, complete, conscientious, and professional manner with very close attention to detail.
- Assists with special projects as assigned
- Exhibits initiative in performing all tasks.
- Completes with supervision, special projects as assigned.
- Aware of and follows departmental policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Maintains and makes available to all clinical staff up-to-date, accurate information on progress related to all clinical agreements.
- May assist with the completion of Informed Consent Forms.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- An academic degree (B.S. or B.A.) with 2 to 4 years of clinical experience. Experience or academic requirements may be less with advanced academic degrees or with pharmaceutical experience in scientific research, clinical research or regulatory affairs.
- Experience working with clinical confidentiality agreements and clinical study agreements preferred.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, time management, written, and oral
- Must have a broad range of skills in the use of computer software, such as, but not limited to word-processing, spreadsheets, and electronic communications.
- Must display a professional image to all departmental contacts, investigational site personnel and vendors.
– Must be detail oriented.
