Position Description

The Associate Director, Business Development Associate will be a goal oriented sales professional who will proactively manage all sales activities for an assigned region in accordance with the strategic goals of the company. Responsibilities include representing Rho, Inc. at client meetings, local and national exhibits, trade shows and conferences. You will identify and develop potential business partners and cultivate existing client relationships by developing outstanding rapport with clients and business partners.

You must be self-motivated and have the ability to meet or exceed company goals while working independently. You will work to build branding and industry recognition to ensure that all sales objectives and goals are met. You will be accountable to the department head for your ability to meet or exceed territory goals.

Must be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with other members of the sales team, Rho management, and other company affiliates. Must be an ambitious part of the sales team and have a focus on company growth and development. Strong negotiation, organization, and presentation skills are required.

Must have 1-3 years CRO or related industry experience with a proven track record of achieving results. Sales experience in the CRO or pharmaceutical environment preferred. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in related area required.
The ideal candidate will reside in the Boston metropolitan area or New England area.

Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
