Position Description

AMRI, a recognized leader in the provision of chemistry services to customers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, has an employment opportunity for a Sourcing Manager.
The Direct Sourcing Manager will lead a team responsible for managing the strategic global procurement of materials for our U.S. manufacturing facility that generates almost half of AMRI’s total revenue.
Responsibilities include: managing the strategic global sourcing of raw materials, intermediates, and equipment; identifying, selecting and building relationships with suppliers; and negotiating for quality, price, and service that meets the business’s requirements.
Applicants must have a minimum of a B.S. in Chemistry or a related scientific field. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years in a leadership Supply Chain role required. Experience with MS Office, Lean/Six Sigma, and ERP/MRP (specifically Oracle) is highly desired.
