Position Description
Toxikon is currently seeking a Director of Sales/Business Development to assist our growing organization. Candidates will be responsible for directing, and monitoring activities and goals of all Toxikon sales associates in order to achieve annual projections and new business development. Expectations are to expand existing accounts and focus on generation of new business in order to meet and or exceed sales goals. Will be responsible for assisting in developing new sales strategies and fostering existing strategies in current markets in order to achieve sales goals and develop strong relationships between Toxikon and its clients by promoting positive communications between clients, sales force and the laboratories. Other responsibilities include addressing pricing/discount practices to achieve a competitive value, preparing, maintaining and reporting the financials of the sales force to senior management on a timely basis, including forecasting.
Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in business development or program management. Candidates with 10+ years and a Masters will be considered. Experience in laboratory services for both medical devices and pharma/biologics is required.
