Job Description

Provide strategic input and direction into the development of the post-approval medical science education and publication/communication plans for the therapeutic area product(s). Serve as a medical science brand expert while facilitating the development of, execution of, or driving support for the following initiatives: clinical and disease area publications, advisory boards, slide libraries, advocacy development, reviewing product advertising and promotional materials, and when requested in accordance with current regulatory standards ensuring the accuracy of data included in professional/continuing education programs (e.g., medical meeting symposia).

Job Qualifications

* 4 year college degree (RN, B.S. with science major, Pharm.D., or pharmacy degree)
* 3-5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including Medical Education, publication planning, clinical trials and/or commercial experience or direct interactions
* Experience with publication planning, advocate development and medical education programs
* Requires excellent ability to interpret and present scientific and clinical trial data
* Must possess strong scientific writing and editorial skills
Excellent organizational skills
* Must be independent, proactive, creative and innovative and able to handle a variety of projects simultaneously.
* Requires initiative and the ability to maintain a high level of productivity with minimal supervision.
* Effective team participation skills
* Ability to think strategically
* Experience reviewing promotional materials from a medical perspective
* Experience in one of the following areas a strong plus: Oncology, Cardiovascular or Acute Care

MUST KNOW:
-ICMJE guidance/general publication practices
-Current ACCME guidelines
-PhRMA Code
-Knowledge of regulatory guidances regarding marketing/sales promotional materials
