Technical Product Specialist - Fenwal, Inc.

We currently have an opportunity for a Technical Product Specialist that provides primary technical service advice and assistance to field service engineers for automated blood processing instrumentation.

Responsibilities include:

Product direction, set priorities and assure proper performance as it pertains to a technical support center and technical product management.

Develop and maintain service documentation including service manuals and technical bulletins.

Provide direct technical support to field service staff.

Create and deliver instrument specific technical training.

Assist with servicing, maintaining and operating medical instruments.

Support the requirements of the field service group by directing and prioritizing the development or enhancement of tools, technical literature, parts and software.

Examine field instrument performance and develop programs to positively impact service delivery.

Manage new product releases and enhancements to determine the serviceability of the product and determine the requirements for training, test equipment, tools, spare parts, manuals and instructions.

Adhere to all environmental, health and safety SOP’s, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements.

Requires:

Excellent communication skills are essential. Ability to exercise independent judgment and draw accurate conclusions based on available information. Strong project management and organizational skills.
Bachelors degree or equivalent related experience required.

Plus 4-6 years related experience required.
